A portrait of Adam Lambert that I just finished the other night... first one of 2011 
I wanted to draw a portrait for my friend since she asked for one years ago and I never did it. I know she loves Adam, and looking through all possible ref pics on the internet, I found this one really caught my eye. I have always tried to avoid drawing hands like the plague but I knew that I had to include it on this one. I also have problems with certain fabrics (which I now realize, I've never drawn leather before).
Lots to improve upon, lots to work on for any future pieces, but this is all the time I have for this one I know this picture in particular has been done many times, but I hope I did it justice.

Charcoal pencil, graphite pencils, and Bristol paper.
Drawn as a birthday gift for a friend.
